Season meat with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.  Brown Mean in margarine.  Add 1/2 cup water.  Slice peppers, onion and chop garlic, Italian seasoning.Simmer for 2 1/2 hours. Add more water if needed.   Keep this juice for sandwiches later.  Cook very slowly and then shred meat.  Add 2 cups water, bouilion cubes, and the juice mixture and simmer for 45 minutes.  Hot peppers are excellent with this.  Serve hot on hoagie bun.
